What Is A Shared Accommodation?

Cottage One is a shared cottage where guests are sharing kitchen and dining facilities, however all rooms have their own bathroom facilities, TV, Heating & Cooling.

Cottage one has a large dining area, full kitchen with stove, dishwasher, Library Room equipped with many books to read during your visit an open fire place, lead light windows and many other great features. If you like to meet people from all over, then this type of accommodation is a great opportunity to do so.

What is a Self-Contained Cottage?

A Self Contained Cottage is where you or your group have this cottage to yourself. It is private with your own bathroom within the cottage, with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and some with full cooking facilities. This type of accommodation is ideal for those who appreciate their privacy.

Is linen provided?

Yes – All linen is provided, e.g. sheets, pillows and towels, however for large groups it is encouraged to bring your own towels. If bringing your own pillows please ensure they are clearly identified and in a coloured pillow case.

Is Breakfast included in the cost?


A self-serve continental breakfast is available upon request at time of booking for a small cost and will consist of:

  • Bread for toast
  • Cereal
  • Milk
  • Juice
  • Yogurt
  • Spreads
  • Tea & coffee

Can I bring my Pets?

Sorry – Carter Cottage is not pet friendly

What Time Can I Check In?

Check in time is after 3:00pm of arrival day – However please feel free to call me earlier if in the area and if the room/cottage is ready you are welcome to check in.

If arriving late please make arrangements with management.

What Time Is Check Out?

Check out is 10:00am departure day – If late check-out is required, a late check-out fee may apply, please feel free to discuss with management.

Is Carter Cottages a Smoke Free Environment?

Yes – Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited at Carter Cottages and in doorways. A $250 charge will apply if smoking has occurred indoors or in doorways to return rooms/cottages back to acceptable state. Allocated areas are available, please ask management on arrival.

What is the Payment Method?

  • Credit Cards Visa or Master Card only
  • Cheques must be received at least 7 working days prior to booking
  • Cash on the day require a credit card number for securing the booking
  • EFT payments accepted, details given on request

Do You Have The Internet?

Yes – We have Wi-Fi available

Is Car Parking Available on Site?

Yes – Each room or cottage has its own on site car park for one vehicle, extra vehicles must park across the road near the park. Please advise your visitors that parking within the cottages are only for our guests and to park across the road.
